This site is dedicated to the memory of Callum Jamie Scott.

Callum was born in Leicester on September 12,1984 and attended Burbage Cof E Primary School.Callum was the youngest of four children and much loved by his parents Keith and Brenda and his siblings, Clare,Leanne and Matthew. In 1994 Callum moved to North Yorkshire with his family and before long he became a true northern lad. He attended Stokesley School and then Northumbria University where he achieved a 2.1 Degree in Marketing Management. Callum loved life and always lived it to the full. He travelled across Europe and then in 2009 he travelled for 18 months across the world. He returned in June 2010, having left a part of his heart in Australia. It was his intention to return to Melbourne to settle there. Unfortunately this was not to happen as Callum died suddenly in London, whilst visiting friends whom he had met on his travels. The date that Callum was cruelly taken from us all was 7th August 2011. That day has changed many lives forever. During his life Callum had a great impact on many peoples lives and is sadly missed by his family and his many friends around the world.

Thoughts

beautiful boy, every day you are here, foremost in our thoughts, how can we ever begin to understand and accept what has happened, bright, beautiful, happy and full of life.......now we struggle to understand the concept of you never being here, as you were, with us in this life again. We love and will always appreciate what an amazing person you were in this life and what great memories you have left us, your family and your friends with, but sadness and pain are the strongest feelings we have. We have a wealth of memories that will at sometime be a help.....we hope! But the feelings of desparately 'missing you' are just so prominent ....every single day without exception......sorry Cal, we know you would want us to be happy, smiling and even dancing our sorrow away... but the pain is just so bad....love you, beautiful boy, always and forever......your 'muvs' on behalf of our family unit......xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
